I just realized that this link was for Feisty Fawn, not Karmic Koala. After a few minutes, or when wp5c4gs heats up, it freezes the computer. I don't know if this makes any difference. Just make sure that the adapter is detected in device manager. When I followed the instructions, the only thing that was different was it could not find the version 1. Maybe I am impatient and it takes 5 minutes or so and I didn't give it enough time. Is there anyway to make this card do WPA2 btw?

After reinstalling the ndiswrapper package, it still kept telling me that Wpc4gs already had the drivers installed, but it still wouldn't work. I have been fighting issues in bit Karmic with the internal wireless adapter, which is the good ol' Intel BG Calexico2.

Ciridan, i have several machines running this card according to this howto under gutsy, so i'm linksyys sure why it was not working for you. If you have a Linksys wpc54g card, look at the bottom and check which version it is.
