Or please tell me somewhere else to look. Feb 10, Gateway MT Notebook. Jdesants, Can you please let me know where and how I can get those drivers. We had to ditch Vista because our software won't work with it. Register now while it's still free!

So, after more than 9 months of use some Vista problems remain without any change from Microsoft. I have the drivers burnt to a disc, so if anyone needs a specific one, let me know. Laptop battery life has always been the most important factor, and more than a few neglected to consider prior to purchase.

All drivers work and everything is functional now as far as i know. The palm rest barely gets warm, and when the fan does run it is quiet and hardly noticeable. Does anybody have ideas on how I could track these down, given the lack of drivers on the Gateway website?

Audik but memory card reader works on mine, small sacrifice. The MT comes with an It all works and no warnings in the Device manager. The exhaust vent is on the left side of the notebook.

If I have anu sucess I will gatewah. So I re-installed Vista Was thinking seriously of buying myself another Labtop just to get XP back Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Websites load very quickly, and there is virtually no lag when navigating the internet or between programs that are already running.

I did however get around the Wireless N Marvell Mt37005 card. Patience is definitely a virtue: I really like the machine myself, but Vista is the downfall!! Or please tell me somewhere else to look.

Just folow the instructions and the wireless start working, thanks lonebirch you you help: Feel free to help us windows XP wanting sons of guns out. Downgraded from Vista to XP. But beyond that, this is proving to be a real headache. Of course with the exception of the Wireless driver.

On the second day of use under Windows XP, it feels a lot more responsive to me. I used Google and couldn't find any.

Using software to tweak CPU voltage may extend the battery further.
